Word Find Buttons
Finding a particular word on a web page can be frustrating. With the Google Toolbar however you easily jump to the first instance of a word by typing it into the Toolbar search box, then clicking on the Toolbar's Word Find button to find each additional occurrence of the word. Google Suggest (Firefox only)
As you type in the Toolbar search box, Google Suggest guesses what you're typing and offers useful suggestions in real time. You can choose one by scrolling up or down the list with the arrow keys or mouse. |

Address Bar Browse by Name (Internet Explorer only)
Browse by Name helps you find a site even when you don't know its URL. Just type the site name into your browser address bar, and Toolbar will take you there automatically. For instance, try typing "oxford" into the address bar to go directly to the university's home page at www.ox.ac.uk.
If you type in something that doesn't have an official home page, like "digital cameras," Browse by Name will automatically show you search results for that term

Firefox Toolbar Version 2
New! Enhanced Search Box
As you type a search query into the new Toolbar's search box, you'll see a list of useful suggestions based on popular Google searches, spelling corrections and your own Toolbar search history and bookmarks. You can also click the 'G' icon in the search box to search different Google sites, the current site, or sites for which you’ve installed custom search buttons.
New! Google Safe Browsing
Previously its own extension, we’ve integrated Google Safe Browsing into Google Toolbar – after all, who wouldn't want it? Google Safe Browsing alerts you if a web page that you visit appears to be asking for your personal or financial information under false pretences. This type of attack, known as phishing or spoofing, is becoming more sophisticated, widespread and dangerous. By combining advanced algorithms with reports about misleading pages from a number of sources, Safe Browsing is often able to automatically warn you when you encounter a page that's trying to trick you into disclosing personal information.
| | New! Subscribe to Feed
You can now subscribe to your favorite web pages with just one click. Many different websites publish feeds with the latest updates to their sites so that, instead of visiting a website over and over for the latest news, you can use a feed reader to keep track of updates for you. The Toolbar will automatically detect if content of the page you are browsing is available for subscription and enable the “Subscribe” button to notify you. When enabled, simply click "Subscribe" and you'll be taken to your chosen feed reader to confirm the subscription.
New! Send with Gmail
Have you been frustrated because you can’t set Gmail as your default mail client? We’ve solved that problem by adding a feature into Toolbar that automatically opens whenever you click on an email link.
New! Custom Layouts
The Firefox version of Toolbar has always made it easy to put your favorite Toolbar features right where you want them – we’ve taken it one step further and provided three pre-set layouts so that you can arrange the buttons, search boxes, and other browser controls for you to make the best use of space in Firefox.

What is Skype?
Skype is a little piece of software that lets you make free calls to
anyone else on Skype, anywhere in the world. And even though the calls
are free, they are really excellent quality. If you and your friends, family or
business contacts are using webcams, you can also make free video calls. You can
even call landlines and mobile phones at really cheap per minute rates (and
there’s no setup or subscription fee).
Do more than just calling
Just
like instant messengers, you can also use Skype to chat and not just with one
other person at a time, but with up to 100 people in a group chat. If it’s a
really nice group chat, you can bookmark it and find it later, which is handy
for persistent chats with family or business contacts.
Find people to talk to
Simply
find and add contacts to your contact list, and when you have people on
your list, you can see if they’re online, offline, busy or not sitting at their
computer right now.
Importing
contacts lets you find people among your contacts who are already on
Skype. Even if they’re not using Skype yet, you can still call your Microsoft
Outlook® contacts directly from Skype.
Shared
Groups is handy when your contact list is full of friends and family.
You can then easily organise them by creating and managing groups of contacts.
And with Shared Groups, all your friends or your latest project group can stay
in touch and be automatically updated when a new person joins the group.
It just works. No worries
Skype
works on most kinds of computers — Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Pocket
PCs. Calls, chats and file transfers work between all kinds of
computers.
Skype
automatically encrypts calls, chats and file transfers before sending it through
the internet so no-one can intercept your call, text or file transfer. And it’s
completely free of advertising, so you won’t be disturbed by annoying pop-ups or
banners.
Useful things that cost a little
You can talk to anyone on Skype over the Internet for free, and you’ll always
be able to do that. There are some other useful things you can do on Skype that
aren’t free (but they’re pretty cheap, actually).
SkypeOut is a cheap
way to call from Skype to landlines and mobile phones. You can also use
SkypeOut to forward calls to your Skype to your home number or mobile phone.
SkypeIn is a number
your friends can call from any phone and you pick up the call in Skype. You
can get numbers in one or more of the places offered, and receive calls in
Skype from anywhere in the world.
Skype SMS lets you
send SMS messages to your friends’ mobile phones from Skype.
